Thank god it's Friday. That time of the week when you can relax, sit back and decide where you are heading for the weekend. If you love long drives through rain drenched routes, this is the perfect time to hit the road. And be sure to play some peppy numbers. Here's our list of ten songs to make your trip fun filled.

Movie: Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi

Directed by Sameer Thahir and written by Hashir Muhammad, this road movie stars Dulquer Salmaan, Dhritiman Chatterjee, and Sunny Wayne. It was shot across seven states - Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Nagaland and Sikkim in addition to Kerala

Movie : Anandam

Written and directed by Ganesh Raj, Anandam follows the life of seven engineering students as they travel to Hampi, Goa, and Mysore.

Movie: Bangalore Days

Bangalore Days directed by Anjali Menon and co-produced by Anwar Rasheed had an ensemble cast staring Dulquer Salman, Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy and Nithya Menon in pivotal roles.

Movie: Nanayam

This one is not new. Nanayam starring Mammotty, Mohanlal, Seema and Poornima Jayaram dates back to the early 1980s. Listen to this song, you will love it.

Movie: Classmates

One of the highest grossing movies in Malayalam, the flick had an ensemble cast including Prithviraj, Jayasurya, Narain, Indrajith, Kavya Madhavan among others.

Movie: Namukku Parkan Munthirithoppukal

Mohanlal takes Shari on a trip around Mysuru of those days. This song is very liberating thus making it one of the most hummable songs for a trip.

Movie: Naadody

Naadody which hit the screen in 1992 has a couple of lovely songs in it. We, however, like this one starring Mohanlal.

Movie: Johnnie Walker

Johnnie Walker directed by Jayaraj takes you back in time. The movie was a hit and this song a mantra for every ride.

Movie: Number 20 Madras Mail

If you are a 90's kid, this song from No.20 Madras Mail used to be a must on every school trip. Starring Mohanlal, Maniyanpillai Raju, and Jagadish

Movie: Kili Poyi

Kili Poyi stars Asif Ali, Aju Varghese, Sampath Raj, Raveendran, and Sreejith Ravi in major roles and was picturised in Goa.
