The smoked salmon pizzette was a decadent dish featuring smoked salmon, quail’s egg and caviar. Beautifully pink, the soft fish made for a wonderful contrast with the crisp baked bread. The innovative range of tea-inspired cocktails is a must-try, with Oriental and fruit fl avours resulting in great flavour combinations.
Chocolate variation stood out among the desserts, layers of chocolate sponge, tempered chocolate and mousse with berry compote on the site and a Bailey’s mousse to accompany it. Replete with texture and flavour, this one can cap off any evening with aplomb.
The nachos tasted distinctly like packaged corn chips, a huge letdown considering the place and price. The Hoisin glazed lamb chops were too tough and the sauce too sweet.
