Much, they say can happen over a cup of coffee. If you are in Thrissur make sure that you stop by at the Thrissivaperoor Kaapi Club.

It is a quaint shop. The traditional display case in front of the shop will be full of piping hot ‘vadas, pazhampori and other snacks’. The smell of coffee and tea wafts through as you walk in. And then, you will be taken in by surprise as the walls of the coffee club is decked up with artwork that depicts the cultural richness of the land.

You will see paintings of Thrissur Pooram, and a lot of other local sights. And as you settle down, the helpful staff will guide you through the small but delectable offerings at the Kaapi Club.

Every year during the Onam break the Thrissivaperoor Kaapi Club. situated near Pazhaya Nadakkavu remains closed for a couple of days. And, when it reopens, there is a huge rush of patrons. This rush is not just to savor the delicacies in the restaurant but also to take in the lovely artwork, which adorns the walls of the cafe.

This year too, the owner Rijesh has plans for new paintings. But, you do not have to wait till next Onam to drop in and savor the coffee and the ambiance at this beautiful Thrissivaperoor Kaapi Club.
