After their studies, Ahdal and Ahammed engaged in minor jobs when they felt the urge to travel. While planning for the trip, the youths decided to make it different from the usual two-wheeler adventures.

However, many who learnt about the trip wondered whether the youths could complete the long journey on a 32-year-old scooter. It was a huge risk, the youths were warned. But Ahdal and Ahammed were certain that the Super scooter would not let them down and this belief inspired them throughout the journey.

In order to keep expenses to the minimum, the Mavoor natives cooked food for them all along the way and pitched tents at petrol pumps and toll booths at night.

Though the ride on the Super scooter was a daring adventure, it was not the first trip Ahdal and Ahammed had embarked on. Earlier, they had travelled to the northeastern part of the country by train in 21 days. Now the youths are elated, having realized a dream trip and proving a point.
